His time at Werder Bremen was a purely case in athletic sense, but it became worse for Tahith Chong now in England. Here the former Werder-Profi last had to bake for his life.
Officially, Tahith Chong has been one of Manschester United for almost six years, but for the Red Devils, the young Dutch was hardly in use. He recently gained experiences in temporary stations such as Werder Bremen (mid 2020 to early 2021), FC Bruges (early 2021 to mid-2021) and until recently at Birmingham City.
In the English second division, he fell from the end of last year until far into February due to a strip operation and spent his rehab time in part in his apartment in Manchester. There he was likely to feel too safe for some time. Because according to information of the “Sun” Chong has become victims of a burglary in mid-January and threat.
According to the English newspaper, three masked burglars should have chosen the football star quite targeted to attack him. In the middle of the night they should be broken into his apartment, awakened him and threatened with a knife at the throat.
Then Chong had to hand out valuable objects, jewelery, watches and designer handbags. The invaders should have even mocked the Dutch even due to his lax safety precautions in his apartment.
Chong from incident “extremely shaken”
Supposedly the robbers looked very professional. They are suspected of being involved in further burglaries at manunited or mancity stars in recent months.
Chong, which was called by the invaders by name, should have been “extremely shaken” after the incident. The numbered police warned the United Star and other players to pay close attention to what they post on their social media accounts.
Tahith Chong played between August 2020 and January 2021 for Werder Bremen. In 13 shorter Bundesliga inserts he succeeded. In the DFB Cup, however, Chong was allowed to ran twice longer. Here he collected a goal and an assist. Because both players and club were dissatisfied with the lending, both sides ended the loan business prematurely.
